Who I am
I am a senior technology and AI strategy leader whose work sits at the intersection of enterprise transformation, intelligent systems, ethics, organizational behavior, and public thought.
I have spent more than two decades working across consulting, enterprise technology, product ownership, digital modernization, and global advisory contexts.
What I work on
I work on AI strategy, technology governance, digital operating models, human-AI collaboration, transformation roadmaps, platform modernization, and the organizational realities that determine whether technology adoption succeeds or quietly fails.
What I think about
I think about AI not only as software, but as a force that changes power, behavior, imagination, culture, work, and agency. I am interested in how intelligent systems alter the way organizations decide, how societies remember, and how human beings retain responsibility in an increasingly automated world.
Infinite Possibilities of a Curious & Creative Life
A creative life transcends the mere act of making art; it involves blending diverse situations and perspectives to discover novel approaches. Stay endlessly curious, embrace invitations, and welcome the unknown while maintaining humility, politeness, and an open mind.
At its core, creativity means making a significant impact by bridging different fields, domains, cultures, and ideas. This fusion of human experience, science, philosophy, and technology enables us to navigate and shape the future.
Yours Truly
This is the more human self-portrait from my original website. I have preserved it here because the professional story is incomplete without the personal one.
Passionate, Frank, Honest, Emotional, Possessive, Competitive, Impulsive, Short-Tempered, Shy, Loyal, at times Self-Destructive, and yet Innately Good.
I navigate life fearlessly, guided by a profound belief that education and profession merely shape the surface; true substance lies in the thought process, the mosaic of experiential patterns accumulated as one journeys through life, and their creative application. Therefore, whether immersed in the realms of technology, economics, or business, I bring an infusion of unbridled passion, honesty, and a wealth of eclectic experiences to each of my endeavor.
Beyond my day job of advising on digital strategies and leading transformations in organizations, my diverse interests enable me to explore and appreciate the beauty of life.
I am a connoisseur of Hindustani classical music, old Hindi and English songs, and poetry, I relish delving into the enigmatic and rich worlds of mysteries, sociology, anthropology, ancient history, archaeology, politics, religion, art, literature, mathematics, physics, architecture (not the software kind), and, of course, science fiction. I thrive on the arcane, the abstract, and the timeless allure of romance.
Born in India, raised in Africa, educated in the US, and having worked in various Geographies, my life-journey unfolds across continents. I have witnessed the majesty of the Sahara, the vastness of the Pacific, the vibrancy of tropical Africa, the serenity of snowy Scandinavia, the unbridled religious and intellectual passion of India, the solitude of New England’s autumn, and the peace of the Hawaiian Islands.
And, in all of this, my quest has always been to understand humanity, appreciate its achievements, relish its diverse culture, and applaud man’s perpetual pursuit of immortality through science, art, literature, and architecture.
I have a rather sharp and deep point of view on various societal issues, technology, and current affairs. And, sometimes they find space as articles in online portals or when I am invited to speak at various forums. But being the reticent, often melancholic person that I am, my deepest longing is to wander through nature, live in a mountain cabin with my collection of books and music.
I often contemplate the insignificance of self and the darkness within man which frequently rears its evil face, but I find solace in the countless stories of the ultimate triumph of mankind, of not going easy into the night. Because eventually, in every story, man does redeem himself, immortalizing the words of H.G. Wells, “Neither do men live nor die in vain”.
